Subwoofer recommended below 40 hz to reach the lowest octave depending on listening tastes and type of music played.
optimal listening distance recommended is 8 to 12 feet with same matching distance between the speakers.
Nearfield monitoring is possible with good results for studio application but will limit the stereo spread for orchestral music.
Best results are achieved with quality AB solid state amps of at least 100 watts into 8 ohm and running 10 watts or more in class A mode.
Speakers should be located at ear level to the listener for flattest response.
